I didn’t get as much writing done last night as I would have liked to. Hubby decided that he HAD to go see the movie last night and that if we managed to get Lauren sleeping early for the next week or so we’d just see it again, or see something else.

Eh, didn’t bother me too much, but it did mean that I didn’t have any hands free time to get some writing done. I took Lauren to bed just before nine and read til half past which was really nice, it was what I needed by that point in the day as well.

So today is Friday, and in a half hour I’ll be down to one child. I’m visiting a friend this morning but hope to make some decent progress this afternoon. I think Lauren is well enough now to start putting in bed and leaving there, she’s less clingy so fingers crossed it works out that way. I’m sitting just under 2.5K, and I’d love to make that 5k goal by the end of the weekend, and maybe next week I’ll get a clear run and be able to push myself back up to 1k a day.

To be honest, as much as I am enjoying writing again, and love the story and the characters, I’m not feeling the flow just yet. I’m not in the groove, despite touching base with the story every day even if I’m not writing much more than a few words. I know it will come, I just wish I was in that place already, though the only way to get there is to keep slugging on until I hit that point where writing it is something that comes easy.

It always does, it’s just a matter of time. And patience. You’d think I’d have learned patience by now but I haven’t really πŸ˜‰

Anyway, off to get the girls ready! It’s raining outside, bleh, I need to find some kind of baby raincoat or something.
