Prolific Blogger Award!

I got a lovely surprise yesterday whenย Kayla left me a comment, letting me know that she’d named me on her list of 7. Thank you! Was a nice bright spot in the day, and gave me a break from my obsessive renovation thoughts ๐Ÿ˜‰

I spent some time thinking about who I would chose for my 7, and it was hard work, though through it, I realized that for some reason I hadn’t updated my blogroll with a few of the wonderful writer/bloggers that I’ve been following for awhile now: Kayla, Melissa, and Jennifer.

It also made me realize, very sadly, that many of the wonderful blogger/writer friends I’ve made have been a bit quiet on the blogging front of late! Mostly due to being very busy, but still – I’ll have to use this opportunity to check out all the blogs other people are mentioning and find some new reading.

Anyways, here are my seven (Seeing as the others have been linked to already!) in no particular order:

Tama Wise

Kerryn Angell

B J Keltz

Merrilee Faber (and yes I know Kayla linked to you, but too bad, you totally deserve another mention).

Ripley Patton

Anna Scott Graham

Catherine Mede

These are some of the people who I consider good friends. Some of them I met through blogging, others from forums/groups, but I think they are all amazing people who have inspired me at one point or another.

Prolific Blogger Award Rules | ONE: Every winner is expected to pass on this award to at least seven other deserving prolific bloggers. | TWO: Each Prolific Blogger is asked to link to the blog from which he/she has received this award. | THREE: Every Prolific Blogger is asked to link back toย this post, which explains the origins of the award. | FOUR: Every Prolific Blogger is asked to visit the post listed in rule #3 and add his/her name to the โ€œMr. Linkyโ€ at the bottom.

  1. Great list! I’m always keeping one eye open for Tama and Merrilee’s latest posts, so (by my obscure logic) they deserve the awards.

    1. Thanks Ruzkin. You know, every time I drive down a past street I think of you lol ‘Ruskin Street’. Scarily, that’s at least 3 times a week!

  2. Thanks for the links – fun to check them out. Also, if I could add another rule to the Prolific Blogger Award, it would be to give extra credit to women bloggers with two young children and another on the way since it is so much harder to find the time! ๐Ÿ™‚

Thank you for the lovely comments you’ve made on my blog recently. Your support and encouragement definitely gave me courage last week!

    1. Well, you are an amazing writer who deserves more traffic ๐Ÿ˜‰ you may not be the most prolific, but your posts are often inspiring and insightful.

  3. Thanks! I do find it a bit ironic that I get this award after possibly my quietest time blogging. I’m working on posting regularly again and trying to make them more useful to others and not just a way to chronicle my writing journey.

  4. I just logged into wordpress, and saw this note at the bottom saying you linked to me with this post. I never knew that was possible – did you intentionally do that?

Well, thank you – over one month later!
I’ve added you to my blogroll as well….but you must have noticed that by now ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. lol, yeah ๐Ÿ™‚ all good! Yes I did do it intentionally, just by adding your link to your name, same as you’d do for linking to a site or something.
      Hope you’re having a good weekend ๐Ÿ™‚
