My Nat Likes to Hide in Boxes…

She spent two days fiddling with the box. Then I realized, upon seeing this, what she was trying to do! One very happy munchkin.

Just wanted to share. Because she’s so freaking cute and I can’t be selfish and keep all the cute for myself.

Some days, I never want her to grow up.

*for the record, she’s never called Nat, but we do like the My Cat Likes to Hide in Boxes book in this household, so I couldn’t resist.

  1. It’s a truth of parenting–one you don’t REALLY find out for yourself until you become a parent–that you can spend more money on a gift for your child than the monthly mortgage payment on your house, and the child will prefer to play in the box the gift came in. You always think, “My gift will be so awesome the box won’t appeal,” but no–the box is always best. πŸ™‚

Your Natalie is adorable. πŸ™‚ We call our Natalie “Nat.” We also call her Nattie, Natalie Rae, Nataratapatpat, and Natalie. πŸ™‚

    Awesome picture!

    1. Boxes are fab πŸ™‚ I often consider packaging in my purchases – not only how cool is the gift, but how useful will the box be?? lol

Our Natalie is Nati (which is really the same as Nattie, but how odd that I have never thought to spell it that way!), Nati-noo, Noodle, Natbag (I’m a fan of converting other names into child names like The Incredible Sulk, Grumpelstiltskin, Crankenstein, Grumpzilla. Natbag was the most recent addition!)
