Sunday

After managing to get some more rest today, I’m beginning to feel a little better. I mean, I ate dinner (most of it anyways) that’s a sign of recovery!

It’s really been a hell of a few weeks, and I’m looking forward to a little downtime from sickness and other things. Please?

All going well, we should be signing the purchase agreement sometime this week, and by the start of May officially own our home and have all of that stress dealt with – can’t say how much I am looking forward to being done with all that. It will be SUCH a relief!

Then we just have to finalize plans for the new kitchen…. more headaches, but it needs to be done.

My writing has taken a massive hit, so progress has been really slow. I haven’t written for the last four days as I have simply been to sick to consider it. That said, I’ve been doing some thinking about my story and am looking forward to launching back into it tomorrow. I’ve also been having some ideas for some short stories, and am looking forward to weaseling out some time to get those down on paper.

Wednesday last week I met with a guy from Kiwiwriters who also lives in town and we had a really cool talk about writing stuff – in fact we’re even attempting to form a writer’s group here! It will be really interesting to see how much interest we get, and I am feeling both nervous and excited about the possibilities. Even if there are only a couple of others, it was really nice to meet up with another writer in person and talk writing stuff and I’m looking forward to more good conversations. I’ll keep you posted on how it all goes.

I think that’s me, roughly caught up. There were pics, and a video and a post, so we can say that I’ve made up for lost time 😉 I’d almost forgotten that tomorrow my Mum goes in for a hysterectomy! I hope it all goes well, I’m trying not to think about it because when I do I can conjure up thoughts of things going wrong. I’m sure it’ll be fine.

Hope everyone is well 🙂

P.S if there are any regulars out there who don’t have the password and want it, just drop a comment and I’ll email you.
